Scouse is the accent and dialect of English found in the northern English city of Liverpool, in some adjoining urban areas of Merseyside and less commonly in northwestern Cheshire and Skelmesdale West Lancashire. Inhabitants of Liverpool are called Liverpudlians but are more often described by the slang term Scouser.
