    Default Does anyone remember the name of the cafe on the corner where Lacoste is now?

    Next to Holland & Barrett.

    Also, the cafe name which is now Quarray Quarter.



    Any help appreciated.

    Nah, i think it was a guys name. I vaguely remember it had big orange lettering on the outside. It was a proper greasy caf.

    It would have been where the Kardomah was, with a new name in later years. can't say I recall the cafe there in recent years. (not counting this most recent one)

    It was late 80's. Right on corner where the Lacoste shop is now.

    It was the Kardomah on that corner. The greasy Spoon you are thinking of was on the opposite side on the corner which is now the Met Quarter, I think it was owned by a chap called Barry Moss?

    Theres a whole string of Harveys shops now mainly in Cheshire. Don't know if they are the same company though.

    Yes deffo the Kardomah, I used to go there alot back in the late 60s, it was the in place to meet for a coffee.
