Default Buildings Open To The Public

Is there a Liverpool equivalent to London's Open House?

Open House London is an annual event that gives Londoners and visitors the opportunity to view, free of charge, a nearly 700 buildings, of architectural interest which are not normally open to the public.

I don't know whether there is an open day/night for public access to buildings in this city but it seems like a good idea.

    Become a Church Bell Ringer

Free access to every tower in the land, Cathedral's, and generally any part of the church that the public don't have access to

    Thanks anonymouse, that's brilliant.
Just missed out. It's seems to be held on the same weekend as the London Open house event, third weekend in September, although organised by English Hertage. I'm thrilled there's something already organised in the city, and will definitely go to the next one. Once again thanks for the link.
