A well known rhyme passed down from church to church:

Prescot, Huyton and 'Merry Childow'
Three Parish Churches all in a row
Prescot for poverty, Huyton for pride
Childwall for ringing and singing beside.

Up until fairly recently, no one has recorded these three parish churches all in a row until I scooted up to the top of Childwall tower and took one showing St Michael's Huyton and St Mary's Prescot.

Now the favour has been returned by a local friend who climbed up Prescot tower to take the same! I was even more surprised to see Mossley Hill church peeking out too!
