    always watching this program.

    anway yer must have seen those glass stairs sticking out from the wall? well I'm afraid I just wouldn't feel at ease coming or going up,its a bit like standing on the edge of a cliff knowing that the ground below your feet is not safe.

    I bet you couldn't run up or down on em like a coventional staircase and how heavy is the weight they'll take?

    George,

    I have had this problem with expanded-metal before. Walking on 'air'? I also was up the CN Tower in Torono some years back and their glass floor reveals a fair drop. You just have to grin and bear it sometimes, for the sake of the kids.

    These guys appear to kow what they are talking about.

    I always watch that programme, some of the buildings are fantastic, we've extended our house three times in the 11 years we've been here and the DIY programmes always provide ideas.

    Us fella's seem to like glass stairs more than the ladies . I wonder why?
