What does anyone think about the shambles that the City Centre Movement Strategy has created?
I find it incredible that £70M could be spent to create a traffic problem in parts of the city that previously did not exist.
Who decided that reducing road widths to one lane each way down busy city centre streets and making strategic roads such as Lime Street one-way would make it easier to get around?
The diabolical traffic jams now evident in St John's Lane, London Road and Lime Street are a direct result of incompetence and should be investigated at the highest level. They must be costing city centre business millions.
