my pics nowhere near as interesting as some on here as we didn't have a camera when I was a nipper. so I have to rely on photos from friends and family.

my late parents wedding day. Holy Spirit Church, Dovecot, 1959

my gt grandma, Wavertree Vale early 1930's?

    moi-bless 1967

    moi again...oh dear

my aunt and uncle on Ranelagh St. my cousin has no idea why this pic was taken, it looks like summat from a catalogue!

    a few more

me and my late mum in Plumer St 1967.

my paternal grandad was in a concert party which often did shows at Wavertree Labour Club

these are apparently some of my Roberts family ancestors. this pic would more than likely have been taken in Edge Hill somewhere. possibly around Durning Rd/Botanic Rd area. no idea of date, I just think it's a wonderfully evocative photo.

    Great pictures everyone.

Quincy, I love that one of the Roberts family.

Also, the one taken in Ranelagh st - there must have been a photographer around there in those days because we have a similar picture of an uncle taken in the same way. I have seen other old photos taken on this road. The photographer must have snapped people at random then sold them the pics.
