    Upper Stanhope Street, Toxteth. This building's a rare survival of the original Harrington laid out with wide streets for the affluent to buy their building plots and develop an exclusive community. It was not to be long lasting and the area deteriorated.

    I agree and it has given me an idea. Wondering what to do this afternoon and I live five minutes walk from the Met on 5th so problem solved!

    Interior view of Liverpool Town Hall. This room was designed as the large Ballroom. Let's hope Delboy and Rodney don't get the job of cleaning the chandeliers. These chandeliers apparently weigh 1 ton each and were installed in 1820.
