Does anyone else find it disturbing that the only 2 women on the list are a footballer’s girlfriend and a glamour model?
I did, so here are a few Liverpool women with achievements worthy of mention...

Margaret Simey- A social reformer for the Liverpool working class, who worked to combat racism in the police. She was also the first female graduate in social science from Liverpool University. She died in 2004 at the age of 98.
