Default Video's of Liverpool circa 1986

Don't know if these videos are on this site already but thought I would put them on. It's amazing how much our city has changed in less than a quarter of a century...

All videos are focused on the south of the city, enjoy!

They are excellent, can't really take credit for them though. Just happened to find them.

It's amazing to see so many petrol stations in places like Toxteth and Garston, banks on Park Road (if you look closely enough you can see the Natwest and TSB) and banks on Smithdown Road!

And not one bar on Allerton Road!

Yeah, things have certainly changed in twenty years. Nice one all the same.

Great to see my Dad's old yellow Viva parked on the central reservation near Allerton Station and the Cheshire Lines Club where we used to hang around as kids

Great videos , it's strange how different people looked just 20 odd years ago. Liverpool looked much cleaner too

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
    how it once was?
