A Re-Enslaver Reassesses The Great Emancipator

Mr. Lincoln has proven himself to be a humane man:
at my beseeching, he ordered the release of my son

from the dank dungeon at Fort McHenry. I could admire
so generous man. Yet, what a meddling politician--!

What a vast disaster will prove his emancipation policy!
Lincoln is a warm and humane man but he is a fool.

Verily, we must re-enslave or expell all free negroes
or consent to be ruined by them. Slavery is vital

for the good of man. There must always be a whipped
and an unwhipped class. Oil the shackles for use.
