    Default Henry Worrall - Liverpool to Kansas Repost

    Apologies for my spoiling the previous thread. This is a repost:
    ========================================
    Hi,
    To my knowledge, this Liverpool born artist and musician has never had any recognition in Liverpool or UK journals whatsoever - nothing. I've found no reference to him on any Liverpool or UK website either. I've decided to address this and I'm in the process of setting up a website documenting his life in Liverpool before emigrating to the US as a 10 year old. I feel he deserves the recognition that the young James William Carling has had recently when he emigrated to the US. The problem I have however, is the dearth of information about his life in our city. This is where you kind people on YoLiverpool come in. I've read how you have used your time to help people and I hope you will do the same for me. If you have any information or have the skills to do so, could you please post any information about Henry Worrall's life in Liverpool to this thread, including references. Even a street where he lived would be a major find. With Kev's permission, I'll copy the posts to my website when it is set up and credit YoLiverpool. I'm not doing this project for monetary gain, writing a book or whatever. I just think Henry Worrall deserves recognition in the city of his birth

    To cut down your time on Google, here are some links about his life in the US. Interesting information, but notice how there is nothing about young Henry's life in Liverpool?

    Thanks for your time and I hope my rambling didn't bore you.

    Sorry to show my ignorance but i've never heard of him ,

    When was he born ?
    The only one i can see was born in 1825 , christened 25th July at St Peter Liverpool.
    parents
    Charles Allen Worrall b 1791 & Mary Mattinson ( they married St Johns Old Haymarket Liverpool) 1891,

    If Henry wasn't b until 1825 it's highly likey there was an older sibling .
