    The Chauffeurs was something like number 70 Hope st - I know because I knew people who lived a couple of doors away in number 66. ( a vicar lived in number 68)

    The club on the Everyman side would be the Casa. I never went there myself, but knew someone who used to go there.

    Kevin Knight was the doorman there for years, and a mate of the owner, Charlie Scott. Still see Kevin once a year at a reunion - we worked for the same shipping company.
