Limited pubs/clubs,The Swan in Wood St,The Augustus John,the Uni bars,The Masonic,O'Conners,The Moonstone,The Cave,Mardi,Blue,kept me busy for a few years.

well, your dead right about the dances, around that time we would drop in
the Blue Angel for a Bevvie or two, it was the Time & place first, they had
to change the name because there was one in Manchester

Does anyone remember the guy who worked the door on Hollywood on duke st. big bald headed black guy...the club was one of Herberts (of hairdresser fame)...and was one of the plushest and hardest to get into in the 70's ?

I am trying to place the clubs on the following streets.....Duke St, Wood St, Seel St,. etc...in the early to late 70's....
If we start off on Duke Street, I know Hollywood was definately there
Seel St..was Bablou ?, Timepiece ?
Wood St. I think Rio's was here ....
Any help or recollections appreciated...
