Just noticed the recently erected one by the Coburg pub (Sefton St/Parliament St). Grafton St/Horsfall St. has a tower crane, I don't remember the specific name of the development.

The crane on the Liverpool One site that was above the new Debenhams came down a few days ago, did you count that one out Paul?

A rare bit of activity this afternoon on the L1 site: one of the tower cranes was dismantling its neighbour. Dunno if they're all coming down. What's happening here, has the L1 scheme been scrapped?

Don't know, but the crane's are on lease and probably costing money. I'm guessing whoever owns them wanted them back...

At the moment it's not looking good is it? They must cost brewsters keeping them there idle though.

    Paul and others,
I know some of you don't get downtown much, but neither do the ladies on SSC which is where you get most of your info from. Most of them haven't a clue.
Ignore them. Just a piece of advice

I'd been wondering that for some time. I can't remember last time I saw them working there, must be about 12 months now, and 4 cranes sat there doing nothing must be costing someone money. As of lunchtime today when I went out, two of them had gone, and it looked like they were getting a third one ready for dismantling.

Yes, within a few more days I'll expect they'll on be gone. Logical, I suppose, but a shame as I was planning to go back there...
