Default Electrcity from salt and fresh water

This could be done in Mersey estuary. Fresh water from up stream merging with salt water from Liverpool Bay. All the city's power could be taken from this.

Deprived of its unique dockland waters Liverpool
becomes a Venice without canals, just another city, no
longer of special interest to anyone, least of all the
tourist. Would we visit a modernised Venice of filled in
canals to view its modern museum describing
    how it once was?

A pilot scheme is about to be tested in Norway and the Dutch are very serious about it wanting one the mouth of the Rhine.

They can be merged into desalination plants too, so fresh water as well. Looks good and all eco.
