I agree Partsky, what a stroke of luck and not the only one. There have been quite a few people asking me to email them pics that have someone or something on them that means so much to them. I suppose when there's so many pics on, that's bound to happen. I just love finding them and showing them.

Some great never seen before pics of the old Pier Head bus station demolition in 1990, the one with the zany yellow mosaic tiles, the rooftop viewpoint, the corridor of shops one of which was called 'Chip ahoy', another of which was the sweet counter where Sandy Bromilow hung around.

Yes, I got a lump in my throat too, when I read Spikes post, How lovely for him and his family. Wish I had a video of my dad. I used to have an old reel to reel tape recorder, which had a recording of my mum, dad, aunt and cousin all of who have passed, the tape recorder broke, and i thought I still had the original tape, but cant find it, think someone had thrown it out.

Ged, when u say on your site, to press F to find a certain thing. Which button is it exactly ( I am a bit thick when it comes to pcs) ha ha

Press control (might be Ctrl - bottom left button) on your keyboard whilst pressing F and a little search box should pop up on the page which you can then type your lead word into and it should take you to it on the page if it's there. I think it will only take you to one picture though even if the street or building you want is also elsewhere on the page but it's a start
