The restoration of Stanley Park will include the repair and restoration of the park's structures including bridges, walls, pavilions and the park lodge.

The National Wildflower Centre in Huyton, a charity which is the only one of its type in the UK, has spent thousands of pounds repairing vandalism in recent months.

Now centre bosses have warned the attraction could shut if insurers refuse them cover due to the costly repairs.

Thugs have even smashed the same conservatory window at the visitor centre, which costs £8,000 to repair, twice in seven days.

Operations manager Lucinda Antal was closing up for the day at 5.30pm on Tuesday when she saw teenagers hurling rocks at the conservatory. continues.....

Default Knotty Ash Park (next to alder hey)

I have noticed that the original victorian railings are in a very bad state and was wandering if anyone knew if they are going to be repaired anytime soon.
I ask this because I have noticed that the park on west derby road as you come out of town at the junction with everton road has recently had its railings repaired and repainted. Just a shame about the rest of the park which is completely bare.
