Albert Dock 1980s Picture

"This picture was taken in the early 70"s." And nothing had been done to fix up the damage from the early forties. Can this be true?

In the 60's I remember many site still left with bomb damage - mainly in the southern docks area since that's what I drove through.
I left in 1970, so I can't say when it got cleaned up...

Can it be that the city fathers, in their wisdom, saw the futility in rebuilding something that was about to die a natural death? Who knows!
