Bobs' Funnies,for the jokes both old and new

Hi all, it is exactly one year today that Bob Fairley met up with us in the Eldonian Club.
He died three weeks later on his return to Ontario. His memory lingers on through his `Bobs Funnies.`

Here is Bob, 11 June 2009, with me on the left and Ernie on the right.
Also Bob and fellow survivors of the Russian Convoys.
A small man but BIG in stature, he spent the Second World War on the terrible Russian Convoys, surely a very brave Man.

Hi there,
Just logged on caught sight of those wonderful pictures yaken at the Eldonian; it was great to see the three of you . I wish I could have been there. Many things have happened since then,most of all the sad loss of old Bob. It's not been too good a year for you either Brian( should'nt have tried to have it away with a walrus). Ernie looks positively bursting with help, let's hope the year is going to prove to be a good one for all of us,
