Thank you so much
A month tomorrow & his death hasn't really hit me yet , i've had so much to do
all the sorting out has kept me pre occupied , but i will miss him more than anyone will ever know .
John & Lynn are such a lovely couple i only wish that he was the Molyneux connected to Linda's family , as he'd welcome her with open arms .
Going through my dads things i've found some interesting items ,
do any of you know of an " Ashley " family lived in Myrtle gardens ?
I'll add a seperate post so as not to take over this one .
luv to you all
Karen xx
Hello Karen, Squiggs and Ged. Many apologies for not replying to your posts. I haven't been on the site for a while. But I'm back again now.
Karen, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. When we last made contact you were caring for him while he was so poorly. My thoughts are with you.
You were going through such a difficult time, yet you were still willing to help others. I'm sending you a huge hug.
Hi Squiggs and Ged. Thanks for your messages. I was full of hope when Karen contacted John for me. Sadly, he wasn't part of my long lost family. But for a short while I was full of hope and so excited. But this Molyneux family has to be somewhere in the Liverpool area. I can't believe just how many Molyneux families there are!
Thanks to everyone for leaving messages. Especially Karen, who has gone out of her way to help as much as she can.

I've just read through the thread, because I know a Molyneux family - John and Lynn - who are a lovely couple. I work with Lynn. What a shame they're not part of the family you're looking for.
I wouldn't be able to trace my family roots anyway on my dads side. My dad claimed Normandy roots once but i think he's BS'ing because he read of vikings there and because the odd one on my dads side are tall and built big.
I don't know any of my family except my sister, brother and parents obviously and havent met any cousins for years either and i wan't bothered about any of them. Some of them married anyway and became Hughes, only ones with my surname i met i think was my uncle Billy, most of my Molyneux relatives died before i was born.
I don't think my dads side would know of any of my roots anyway. My mums name was Dugan or however it's spelt so maybe i have Irish too but she was brought up in a home so i know none of her side.
Maybe i should marry a Japanese woman one day like Lennon(except there alot hotter than Yoko usually) and have some kids with Liverpool and Japanese roots. They'd probably call Liverpool "Riverpoo" though since they have problems pronouncing the L's though.

Gididi Gididi Goo.
Oh yeah, despite there being many Molyneux's in Liverpool, i encounter alot of people who can't pronounce Molyneux right. They say it like "Molyno", "Molynaux" or Molynuex".
Gididi Gididi Goo.
Whereas Moulinex make things simple - and that includes the price.
Max you should look into your roots mate, you are of noble name and could be of noble birth mate
forgot to mention, I knew a bird called ]Molly

Hiya...my MIL was a Molyneux...she was born in Garston in 1927..but her father and his family were from Woolton...the Molyneux family were in Speke Hall in the 1750`s so they have been in South Liverpool a long time...for the record, the man who is the overseer for all the funerals done by Porters Funeral Parlour in Park Road ,Toxteth (still the Dingle to me) is Mr Molyneux...I wont post his name up....but if you ring Porters you can speak to him...he is actually a cousin of my MIL...if you would like his chritian name PM me....good luck...allan
