Hello,
My name is Robert Irvine, and I attended Chatsworth Street County Primary School from 1956 to 1962. I have some wonderful memories of the school, and am glad that it is still exists, essentially as it was when I was a pupil there. The two sheds of course are regretfully no longer there, but that's progress I suppose!

In case you are interested, I am enclosing a few images from the past.
Image 1 is the May Pole dance taken about 1936, and given to me by my father, who also attended the school.
Image 2 is the football team from 1962. The teacher in the photo is the much loved and respected Mr. Plews. I am the short guy on the right, back row.
Image 3 is the rounders team from 1962. The teacher is Miss Millington, and my sister Elizabeth is holding the bat.
Image 4 is my report card from 1958.
I am currently living in Selkirk, Ontario, Canada after emigrating with the family in 1966. I had the opportunity of visiting the school in 2009 while on a visit to Liverpool; It was quite an emotional affair.
Thanks.
