    Default Helicopters In Liverpool

I've attached some images you might find interesting. Helicopters in Liverpool.

1 - Landing pad in town.

2 - At Paradise Street [what building is in the background?]

3 - By the Pier Head. [could be Paradise Street again]

That building is in Lord Street, next to BHS, Kev. Before Macdonalds side was built!

I have seen that picture of the building with the heliport on the roof before. It is the original plan for what eventually became the Paradise St Bus Station.

An example of integrated public transport thinking! Of couse scheduled public helicopter services never really developed in the UK probably due to their higher operating costs over fixed wings. The only exception being the successful Penzance > Isles of Scilly route which satisfies a niche market.

Therefore, no coincidence that the other photo shows a helicopter landed on the cleared bomb site in Paradise St.
