    Default Rapid Hardware

    Hi.
This is my first post on the forums.
I would be very grateful if anyone can help me by telling me what the Rapid Hardware buildings where originally.I was in town today at the top of Renshaw street and although I am 47 years old and born and bread here,I had never noticed what great buildings they are.I had not even noticed the dome on top of the building up the Berry Street end.
    thanks in advance
    Phil.
ps any old pics would be great
    thanks again

Hi, I'm sure you'll love the site, just realised I'm typing this in the wrong thread, but hello anyway

They were a row of shops with different occupants.
All the side between Heathfield Street and Leece Street is dated 1903.
(Built on the site of St Andrew's church.)
A contemporary street directory will give the names of the occupants.
