Why demolish It? Looks like theres nothing wrong with It.
Gididi Gididi Goo.
This is absolutely disgusting. The old chapel was the oldest public building in Garston and enquries had been made about getting English Heritage listing.
words fail me.
Proud Scouser, with a dabbling of Welsh and Irish.
bore yourself silly at my Flickr page...anorak central!
Just like the Bedford!!!!
Was there no warning????
You take them for granted - until one day they're gone!
I'm no expert on Garston's buildings, but is it really St Francis Of Assisi Church that has been demolished?
If so, there are quite a few public buildings older than that, including St Michael's and the Reading Room and the chapel that's now a house.
Another disgrace. I hate the way Liverpool is getting it's history ripped apart.
Mind you, some people would be happy with a lambanana in its place

Which road is this on?? Wouldn't mind getting over there myself!
I was only in Garston on Friday...had I known, I'd have made a special visit to the site!
