Does anybody have older relatives who remember the above families - Haycock and Armstrong - who lived in Kirkdale around the 1930's? My particular interest is for a couple named Joseph "Joe"...

Does anybody know whether there are records for dock labourers in the early 20th century? I'm hoping to find some details for my great-grandfather who was a dock labourer around 1900.

I'm sure some of these Haycocks are relatives, but as I don't have the exact names of George's children, I can't figure out which ones :disgust:

Anything from 1881 onwards I guess, as I have no idea how long the family remained in the Liverpool area but know George Haycock was aboard HMS Carysfort during the 1881 census taking....
