That last picture is great, all of the pictures are great but it's a pity that the old buildings in the foreground haven't been knocked down yet because they're a disgrace, thanks Dave.

You obviously broke in Dave... ;)
Nice pictures though - Beetham West is really coming along. I reckon the crane's going no higher as they've removed the 'climbing' apparatus, so we can get an idea now of how high the tower will be.
A couple of lads from the 28 Days Later forum:)

Ha ha, if only! Me and one of my exploring buddies see that as being a dream job! Imagine being outdoors all day, with those views... Nice picture by the way, quite a unique shot!

If I am fortunate enough, will try to get a view from the toll booths of the Wallasey Tunnel. May sound unflattering but, it's a great place to view the Beetham West Tower as it is seen towering over St Pauls Church in Seacombe. Such a contrast in views!
That tower can be seen from a few places though, even Thingwall (nr Heswall). I am also glad to say that I can see it every day to and from Birkenhead and also whilst at College. Most of the computers face it in the Learning Curve!
Great images Dave and Kev, you both got the tower from it's best side!

Fantastic zoom Kev. Look how small the Town Hall is compared to Westy:PDT_Piratz_26:
Took this less than 2 years ago. Amazing how quickly Beetham West has popped up to the height it is now.

Crazy! Did Unity have three cranes then?
Took this shot around the same time and looks like three. I think there are two in the same line of sight.
