Took this from the grassed area around King Edward`s statue which had a notice saying keep off the grass, but after seeing the ruts in the grass made by wheeled vehicles I thought my little feet wouldn`t make any difference.
Looking down Tithebarn St from Vauxhall Road. Taken on Saturday 10th, the fireworks from the Pier Head signify the transition or handover of the Capital of Culture status to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The first time such a handover has taken place between the current holders and the new recipients.
