Stanley Park
Had a walk around the newly refurbished Stanley park, and was amazed by the work that's been done! The conservatory looks fantastic,as well as the terrace, and various smaller structures! I used to play here,as a kid,and have fond memories of the paddling pool, the floral (cuckoo?) clock, and of course, the rowing boats, all of which, unfortunately,no longer exist! But,no matter, I just hope now, that there is some effort now,by the council,to keep it in it's present condition! ( I did take more pic's,but it was quite overcast, and they came out a bit dark!)

To think Liverpool FC are being allowed to build a stadium on the park, when Walton Hall Park is a far better site and a disused Merseyrail line is there waiting to serve the stadium and the surrounding districts.

It's looking good isn't it. :) I keep meaning to get along there with my camera. Thanks for posting those nice pics.

Nice photos Steve. Boy, that's changed since I was last there. Think it will stay like that.

It's looking great!!! I'm in the South end so Sefton Park is my usual park but I do wish that the whole of Liverpool could have had a vote with regard to the application to build a stadium.
Still, great snaps makes me want to go there this weekend, may do that! :)
