Why are some families placed within communities that will seem then abused and harassed?

A NIGERIAN mother-of-three today told of her family?s hell at the hands of racist yobs.

Over the past days Rosemary Asemote?s Stockbridge Village home has been repeatedly targeted by vandals.

Gangs hurling stones and bricks have smashed the windows in the family car and home five times in the past fortnight.

The campaign of terror started on January 18, nine months after Rosemary, 40, her husband Luke, 48, and their children, aged 14, and 10-year-old twins, moved into the Woodfarm Hey area from Kensington.

Detectives are treating the attacks as racially motivated.

Rosemary said stones were thrown at her and her children and they were taunted with racist abuse as they waited at a bus stop at Christmas.

In the past 14 days the gangs:

Tried to steal Luke?s truck parked on the driveway on January 18.

Trespassed in the garden the following day.

Smashed Luke?s car window with a stone two days later. more
