Lovely Photo Gregs Dad :PDT_Piratz_26:
Very nice, Greg's Dad.
Early 1960s?
I've got 2 colour photos of Church Street in Christmas 1970.
Not mine, and I don't know whose they are.
If I find them, I'll post them.
Lovely picture Greg's dad.
Yes - the lights did look better then. There are more of them, and look at those chandelier type centrepiecs - you wouldn't get anything so fancy now.
Henderson's is there, so it must be the 1950s.
1958 if I remember right just got my first second hand Exacta camera
that day and couldn`t wait to try it out.

Nice.
I find the street lights are spoiling my attempts to get this years Christmas lights though.:PDT_Xtremez_42:
Those lights are better than the city had circa 1990, remember when it was just a few white round lightbulbs strung across Church St and nothing else.
Another cracking photo gregs dad, look forward to yours Philip. Here's Church Street Christmas 90.

Sorry, did it again as I don't think the previous one is clickable. How do you get them on larger?
