The old British American Tobacco factory on Commercial Rd.This is now living accomodation.The cars belong to spectators watching the Liverpool FC Legends playing Brittania FC old boys across the road on the William Collins Memorial ground
What a good picture.. Such contrast in the beauty of the Swan and the dirt (of the reality) of humans and what they have had no respect for.. The beauty of their own land... Very sad, yet poient ... clean up your mess people... and let the beauty of Mother Nature shine...

Was it used by American Forces during WW2? I remember somebody telling me that American soldiers found guilty of murder at that time were hanged in the building. Any truth in that?
Ha ha Joe, I bet you're right. My pa-in-law worked there. He said he could get to the Union pub and down a pint of mild before the hooter had stopped sounding for knocking off time.
