The only time I ever visited it was when it was the Homeopathic Hospital, in the late 60's if I remember correctly.
It's always been a Homeopathic Hospital Daveec, the name Hahneman is the name of the 'founder' of Homeopathic medicine. Sorry to see it closed down though. it did have it's place in medicine , at least for some conditions.Quote:

Yes Davec! it was NHS, Other hospitals and doctors could refer patients there for homeopathic treatments, mind you,! a lot of doctors looked on homeopathy as 'not really a true medical practice' !Quote:

I visited someone who was in the Homeopathic, must have been early to mid 70's.
It was taken over very early 1980's and used by L'pool Faculty of Art.
