I really like that picture GD. A very interesting view of those buildings from that angle. The red and blue in the middle of the buildings, and the blue of the of the boat really add something to the whole image. :PDT11
Lovely detail on this Bold st/Concert st building.

Bought a cheap Canon lens yesterday for my old Canon 350D which I rarely use, having only a 70/300mm lens. This is the first pic taken with it.for the price I`m quite pleased with it.

Thanks for that photo Leon! Can you tell me what the building is opposite? on the site of the old Radium Institite. Cheers.
Hiya Norm. The old Radium Institute is now demolished and awaiting final amendments to Planning approval for new Apartments...apparently the existing trees will require pruning and thats causing a problem in gaining approval.....at present its a car park.

Thanks CP, & wsteve55, Josaphine Butler House was the 'front' office block/reception rooms, main hospital building of six floors was directly behind. also university Medical Endocrine Labs was situated in basement of main building.
taken approx two weeks ago.
i believe it was a forerunner to Clatterbridge in cancer care & research..... howeveri am sure Norm is more able to qualify this.

I've been waiting for that building to be restored, but unfortunately they destroyed it. :sad:Attachment 23063Attachment 23074Attachment 23075Attachment 23076Attachment 23077Attachment 23078Attachment 23079Attachment 23080Attachment 23081Attachment 23073Attachment 23072Attachment 23064Attachment 23065Attachment 23066Attachment 23067Attachment 23068Attachment 23069Attachment 23070Attachment 23071Attachment 23082
nice collection there Leon.......thanks for kindly sharing them......as they say " Another One Bites The Dust "......what an absolute disgrace ....another case of Profit or Greed taking precedence over preservation of the city's heritage.......The Seaman's Orphanage buildings in Newsham Park are the latest ones at risk ....they are in an awful interior condition and getting worse.
