The way we were 1954, one of my first pics taken with Ilford Envoy camera 39/6d plastic
on 120 roll film, negative cut down to fit my 35mm scanner,only sky and water missing.
Not sure if I`ve posted this before. Lego buildings hadn`t been invented yet.

Thanks Mart. I remember getting my films developed by a shop just passed the Commodore cinema on Stanley rd who said if you put your film in before 10 in the morning they would be ready at 4 in the afternoon. My mate and I would be outside the shop at 2 dying to see what our pics were like. Now it`s all digital so that bit of fun has been lost.

Strange to see it so empty ! :)
I won't go on those particular escalators. they are too steep and too fast ! :eek:
I walk the long way around to get the lift or walk down the stairs.
I will tackle small slow ones, but don't like escalators in general and avoid them if I can.

Its the working carthorse statue behind the New Museum. Its still closed off but at least now you can get by the new building you get a better glimpse of this :)
There was a copy of the transcripts on a nearby gate:
