Before the Royal Liverpool Teaching Hospital

collegepudding mentioned he lived in Hardwick Street which was one of the couple of dozen or so streets cleared for the building of the hospital in the mid 60s. The clearance involved the demolition of St. Judes Church and the Majestic Cinema.


This is the West side of Hardwick street, taken on 20th December 1965.
