Thornton, just north of Crosby.

I was brought up in Ronaldsway, Thornton. Has anyone got any pics of Thornton in the old days?
It seems Crosby has it's fair share of old pictures, but some of Thornton would be nice :).

On the Wirral in Bromborough now, but very fond memories of Thornton. Especially the short walk up the back of the Nags, for some lovely countryside :).
Anyone remember "Jimmy Johnson" from the corner shops in Thornton? We used to go there before school to load up on sweets!!
Oh yeah - what a shock that the end shop, that for years was that discount store run by the brothers is now a Subway!
