Rankin Hall- Ullet Road

Does anyone know anything about this fantastic building on Ullet Road near Sefton Park?
It says on the posts outside that it's called Rankin Hall, but when I typed that into Google, it just brings up info about Uni residences.

BTW. Holt House is opposite St Agnes Church, in Ullet Road.
