Yes, I must admit its one of my favourite places to sit and the view is brilliant from there,... brilliant pics btw.
Excellent pictures Dave, didn't realise just how good the view is from up there...
Lovely pics :PDT_Piratz_26:
Great pics makes me long to see Liverpool again miss all of it, London not the same.
Sweetcheeks:) :)
Sure changed M8. Great pics.
I remember sitting on the 'Brow' when there wasn't much of a skyline to look at.
Thanks for your comments folks.
Hiya Bobby, I can't keep up with recording Liverpool's ever changing skyline. Let's just hope it's not Boom and Bust.
In the boxing gym we did an exercise to run up that!
Not to mention those ladies of the night that knock around that area.
Surely they should be moved on its not fair on ordinary women who are waiting at the bus stop or going the shops.
LOL! Just reminded me of a pic I took of Sebo when we were around there one day.

He's doing very well Dave. I visited Sebo a few days after he got out of hospital. I expected to be greeted at his front door by some oul shawlie, then lead into a darkened room where Tony would beckon me to sit next to his bedside. Instead, Tony opened the door, greeted me and we chatted as if nothing had happened! What a dissapointment.
Seriously though, this guy is amazing and he has some of the coolest scars:eek:
The next time we met was by chance, 5 weeks later at St Lukes bombdy church. I never intended to visit there and neither did he. It was also his first trip out since his op'. Weird or what!
PS
Sebo last week.

Very gay
How gay, Dave! LOL!
Can anyone recall the name of the sweet factory at the top of Everton Brow
it was on the right hand side looking towards the River Mersey it may have
been Barker and Dobsons re Everton nick name the toffes can recall the factory in the early 50ths.
Fergie
The question mark (like the boats in the church) is to do with the Liverpool Biennial I believe...
I should hope so :PDT_Aliboronz_11: . Lets get back on topic. Everton Brow, isn't it a bit dodgy up there?
So gay is the new bad? Strange times we live in.
:Colorz_Grey_PDT_24:
Being the most politically incorrect person, I have only ever used GAY to mean happy and joyfull. Other uses people have found for GAY I still refer to by the adjectives of years ago. I like the language the way it was and don't accept changes without good reason.:Colorz_Grey_PDT_24:
Hmmm! How did we get here from Everton Brow (I lived in a flat off there for a short while as a teenager - Fox Street). Regarding the labels, the difference is that between achieved and ascribed status - whether one is defined by yourself or by others. A person who engages in homosexual activity, for example, may define themselves as gay whilst others may define them as poofs and ponces - a successful outcome for those concerned is when others have come to refer to you by your achieved status. The alternative strategy is to take ownership of the term that others define you by as with blacks and the word n!gger (no longer seen as acceptable to be used by whites).
Personally I don't like the use of labels at all as the tend to define a person by only one aspect of themselves.
I should ride up there sometime.
It's only up the road from the boxing gym, so it wouldn't take that long to get there.
Maybe one of the Dave's have a picture of it.:PDT_Aliboronz_24:
Was it the Pontack?
That was the Soho Arms.
