Lime Street yesterday from St George`s plateau
this was taken today (may9. 09)..around 12ish
was just going to take a pic of the lion, when i noticed what was in the background, so one pic of the lions head and this.
had a good day walking around with my new compact camera, amazing how you notice all the people with cameras hanging about when you have one yourself. lol
even spent some time walking about the walker art gallery, haven't been inside there since a school trip.

love that pic gregs dad.. if you walk the other way down the road and look up at the beatles statues, do you notice that ringo is looking around the corner and his peace sign looks more like he's sticking two fingers up at you ... or is that just me ?!?!?

Here is the original untouched as taken.At my age the pic needs some help to sharpen the image (I`ve got the hippy,hippy shake) Then you always get a slight haze on a sunny day so I darken the pic to make it more contrasty,
Fine photograph, Joe. :PDT11 I took a shot of virtually the same view during my visit to the 'Pool in May 2007 but not in the glorious sunlight and detail that your photo shows. Well done.
