A Bass Charrington pub as I recall. It wasn't the Spion Kop.
I'm not sure George , i never went in any of the pubs there , i was too young , they were old peoples pubs , i think the little off licence was in Devonshire place , it could well have been called by a different name . I don't recall a pub called the Adelaide though , was that there before the clock ? Do you remember the Beacon Light on Mere Lane ?
I know Petton street , it ran sideways with flats and Maissonettes , it was nice there when i was a kid , i had friends there .

I went to St Silas primary, which was the school "Ringo" went to years earlier ! my headmaster was Mr Lancely and the best teacher had to be Miss McKnutt !, then on to Liverpool Girls College in Grove Street where the headmisstress was Miss Cadman Smith.

I went to Harrison Jones school in West Derby Street, L'pool7 and Gateacre Comp between 1966 and 1971.
Calday Grange, West Kirby, 1961-67. They did their best to turn me into a model citizen, but I ended up being an ageing '60s hippy beach bum. :037:
