The museum and the library next door were destroyed by bombs in 1941, and have been rebuilt.

Water board depot Pall Mall
this is sadly the only 'modern' pic I have of where my dad and grandad worked. I've got one of my grandad in the yard in the 30's somewhere.
I only had a basic crappy camera when I took this. the green shed in the middle was where my dad repaired the water boards vehicles.
It was on the corner of Leeds St (from where I took this) and Pall Mall.

I went back when I got my first digital camera to get some pics and it had all gone.
I'm new on here so I'm working my way through as many old threads as I can. But if anyone has any better pics of here please post them.

At Otterspool and demolished in the 1930s. There was a dock at Otterspool.
I remember going into the shop at the end - pretty sure I'm right.
