CP - when you've made as many errors as I have over the years, failing to acknowledge then would be rather pointless. To be fair, I'm not always so cooperative - I can be as stubborn as anyone! But I do try to fight that tendency.
Kevin, thanks for that mate..taking the time to let me know..
its no prob Kev... if and when, your priorities are the main thing...
Thanks again Kevin... :PDT11

Golconde by Rene Magritte (1953)
Magritte was a bit of a maverick who produced thought-provoking images. I wonder who that reminds me of...
;-)
Rainy Night in Liverpool,TOP SHOT Gerard

Re: post 962
Gerard,
I'm afraid it's usually the priorities of others that I'm subject to. A week on Friday I should be in The Adelphi, then The Crown, for the annual Harrison Line reunion. Instead of which I'll be in Portugal - the second year running I've had to miss the reunion. Each year there are fewer of us left so it's important to see people while they're still with us.
Come on Gerard, we are waiting for a pic. Yer slow today mate. lol
Thanks Savo.. that's much appreciated..
Gerard.

Kevin..
I hope you have a great time in Portugal..
I gather like my eldest Son you are teacher.. I know how bloody hard my lad works..
you enjoy your break Kevin, I've no doubt you deserve it...
Thanks Kevin..
Gerard..
Just a note for anyone who has not seen it, Gerard kindly sent me a copy of his fine photograph "2 Birds a Daffodil and a Queen" which I used on my blog where I posted some thoughts about the Sixties music scene on Merseyside. Thanks again for the use of piccy, Gerard!
All the best
Chris
Thanks for that Linda...
If I'm honest Linda I have to say I'm not really into art and exhibitions...
I have not got a clue what I'm looking at.. and I dont mind admitting that..
I like the odd little painting maybe, here and there..
If my work is not in any of these exhibitions you wont find me anywhere near them...
unless its at a gallery/exhibition that involves photographer/artist friends of mine....
you definately wont find me going all laaaaa de darrrrr and acting soft staring at some of the sh*** that is called art.. not on your nelly girl.. lol
