I take ours to the converter machine in Tesco , it gives a voucher that you exchange for the money , but the voucher has to be cashed that day , if it's not they wont give you the money , that's just wrong , what if you had shopping to do or were otherwise distraced and forgot ?
Hahaha , i remember one time i was on the kiss-o-grams , a wife got jealous because her brother in law had booked me for her husband , she sneaked up behind me and stuck her nails in my ribs , i was a skinny little thing then , it really hurt , as soon as she done it she turned around to leave , i ran after her in a pair of black stocking , suspenders and a basque , right through a posh resturant and into the car park , i could'nt catch her though i was wearing very high heels , the diners faces were a picture ...
if I went out in my night atire!, I would be first rather cold and second! arrested:rolleyes:, just pause for a moment.....:) correct! no pj's:unibrow:
I spotted this article in The Mirror today (29.1.10) and just had to post it in here!! :-)
........(click link below for rest of story)..Quote:
A Tesco store yesterday banned shoppers from wearing pyjamas, nightgowns and slippers.
And mum-of-two Elaine Carmody, 24, became one of the first casualties of the ban. She said: "I walked in with my trolley and the security guard came over and told me to leave.
"I've got lovely pairs of pyjamas, with bears and penguins on them. I've worn my best ones today, just so I look tidy

On casting my vote in poll at the bottom of page, the latest figures were ~ 81% FOR Tesco's being RIGHT to ban the woman and only 19% AGAINST. What does that tell ya?
I wonder if any other Supermarket will bring out this ban now too.... http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y16...mrollseyes.gif
As I walked through Kirkby Town Centre today a beautiful young girl was walking towards me with her hair in the biggest curlers I have ever seen and was wearing pink pj bottoms under a coat. She was holding the hand of a gorgeous little girl who was beautifully dressed. Whilst she was walking along she was loudly effing and blinding into a mobile. Generally I am a Libertarian but you lead by example................or dont, as the case may be.
I would not go to bed in a business suit or evening gown nor would I leave the house in bed clothes! It is a horrible thought!
Had to run down 6 flights of stairs once, 'cause of a fire alarm..Dead of winter in Chicago...My 2 roomates and myself had pj's on (thank God), and slippers (thank God) .....Got to the bottom, out the door and some nice bloke took us across the road for a hot coffee in some cafe...BUT, that was out of necessity...I sure wouldn't do that otherwise...
No excuse for laziness.. Lots of woman are single mums, and have a job too, and get dressed and then go shopping.. Hawaii is very slack when it comes to clothing.. Ya see some in swimsuits, just parading down the streets and no cover up... Most places require some coverup and slippers.. This curler thing going on there is ridiculous.. Think it yells!!! I want attention...
My wife goes to hairdressers on Saturday afternoons, and I wait in the car. Lawrence Road has many with PJ's on and massive curlers in their hair
at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
smudger95,
I, for one, am grateful that you offer no photographic evidence of what you say. Is this not the West's version of purdah? Where women can be themselves outwith the lustfull gaze of the male? Here I am supposing that these sights were not in the least alluring to you.
I heard a moment ago on Any Questions (Radio4) that there is a facebook group in Liverpool amassing signatures against this very thing.
And, I hear also that there is a action-faction in Liverpool organising protests today outside branches of Boots against the selling of Homeopathic remedies.
Will the city ever be free of displeasure?
Ha, a petition against jim jams... love it...
I would arrest them and put them in a hospital mental ward. After all, they are already dressed for it.
Curlers in the street!!!!!! I can't believe it. If someone walked down Madison in curlers we would assume she was headed for the Lexington Avenue Women's Homeless Shelter!!! Disgraceful!
http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...vatars/lol.gif you're right Ronijayne. They do look like they've wandered out of a hospital ward.
.. but on a more serious note - as Debra pointed out - - what if someone really had wandered out confused from a hospital ward - - they would blend in and no one would notice! ha!
