This is where the millionaire Howard Huhes lived before he died. He had it built in the shape of his famous aircraft The Spruce Goose. It has finally been renovated and maybe opened as a school.

It' in Everton, just up from Everton Library.

I had a bit of a rant in there ... the construction of the school was held up for ages and we were begining to fear that our kids wouldn't get to enjoy a smart new school. Anyway, they are in it now thankfully.

The new Floral Pavillion. New Brighton. I've not been to the new one yet.

Good picture, Pabs. My wife, my uncle and myself saw Ken Dodd's show at the Floral Pavilion in August 2003 but that must have been the old theatre.

Yes, they knocked the old one down. Never thought they'd replace it really. Made up they did though. Seen lotsa stuff there with the kids and they had some famous people on there. The Beatles played there I believe. Looking forward to going to the new one. probably go when Yabuk has her next show on there.

Don't think a tot is gonna help ya in this cold Jack.

The initial warm feeling from a tot doesn't last - you lose body heat quicker so it's not a good idea. It's why so many alcoholics freeze to death.
