Here's Liverpool's latest addition,it's called Liverpool Heroes and it features double VC winner Noel Chavasse.It's situated in Abercromby Square for anyone who wants too see it,it was busy up there today so that's the best I could get.

Recent Liverpool Echo photographs are available at Mersey Shop. However, since you say the renaming of the old Wellington Barracks to "Chavasse Barracks" that you attended took place in the Fifties, the Liverpool Record Office might be a better bet.
