25th Nov.
St Nicholas church, Halewood.
Love that photo of the town hall Philip, will put it on my photos page in my files.
Liverpool FC shop, Williamson Sq, Liverpool. Not the best of modern architecture.
Nice photo Lindylou. Many of Liverpool's 19th C great and good are buried at St Nicholas. Two come to mind William Imrie, co founder of the White Star Line and Robert Horsfall whose family founded many churches in Liverpool.

Thanks for the link Taffy. :)
Nice photo, Lindy.
St Nicholas was quite a popular name for Liverpool churches.
Off the top of my head there's Liverpool's Parish Church, the Greek Church of St Nikolas, and the Pro-Cathedral in Hawke Street.
Oh, and he was the patron saint of prostitutes.
Honest.

Yes, which became the union cold stores.
Talking of prostitutes, I saw one being arrested on Shaw street last night, she grabbed the coppers wedding tackle and I heard him say 'Come on, you're only making it harder for yourrself'.
Thanks Philip for another link and interesting info about St Nicholas :)
Nov 27th. Grassendale Esplanade.
Aintree Institute.
