Scotch Piper Inn - Southport Road, Lydiate
Reportedly the oldest inn in Lancashire, photograph taken in March.
Been in there, it's tiny inside and the bogs are in a seperate block across the car park, well the gents is for sure. Bikers used to frequent the place, maybe still do. A great farm, cafe and craft shop a few hundred yards past it called Lydiate Farm.
Lovely picure Ross. Pity the cars are stuck in the way to spoil the view.
Must be 30 years since I've been in there. Beer used to be run off from a tap on the barrel, into a large white enamel jug. They'd then fill your glass from the jug. Is it still the same?Quote:
