I posted these on another site and somebody mentioned the same, was it Radio Caroline ?
Probably! It was pretty pathetic,a plastic model of the boat, with a string of fairy lights across the window! There always seemed to be a light on,in the back, and we wondered if their was some transmitting, going on,as Merseyside had some tradition of pirate radio.
Being a lot more into histroical photographs of the city, I feel some threads could benefit resurrection, especially for the newbies, this being one of them. :PDT11:PDT_Piratz_26:
Are Everton Heights the flats that used to be on Netherfield Road? If so that is so strange, Yesterday I got in touch with an old friend from 40 years ago! and she used to live in the flats in Netherfield Road. Also my uncle lived in the flats in Sheil Road. He lived quite high up, but I cant remember what floor, as I was fairly young when I visited, but I know I didnt like looking out of the window, and I felt as if the flats were swaying. ha ha.
Everton Heights were on Nethy, there were 20 odd high rise along there.
Another fantastic thread - one of my faves - that deserves resurrecting to the top periodically.
