Liscard house in Wallasey ( that one ontop of the hill which is creamy) would have some cracking views I bet, as would those down at Seacombe
Great images everyone! Really enjoyed looking at these!

A couple more pics I forgot all about from a few years back. Not the best of quality, but they were taken from the East Lancs Rd near Knowsley.

Thanks kebabman :PDT_Piratz_26:
nice pano kebabman. and thanks petecarr.
Just taken this sitting in the office - I had to zoom in on my none optical zoom camera LOL so it's a poor image.....but the colours are there and the sun makes the trees look like they're on fire!
Wheres a good spot to take skyline pics from? I know most are taken from the Wirral side but where?
I usualy go to Fisherman Wharf next to the Seacombe Ferry Terminal...
My above pictures has taken from Fisherman wharf....At below picture Where I do stand is wiev from Fisherman Wharf.

Also Woodside is good point as well...
When I have a time I will go to Irish Ferry terminal by Four Bridges and ask permission to take a night version skyline of
Liverpool...It seems Irish Ferry Terminal is exact opposite to Liver Building.
Kebabman...
Absolutely brilliant. Love the photographs.
Looks great on the shop wall too. I work in New Brighton and very often pop in for a sausage dinner late on. See you soon mate.
Map
Kebabman is right, Woodside is a great view. If you walk along to monk's ferry and upto the Priory, you can go up the tower (when open, of course) and get really good views there too. I know ScouserDave has been there, have seen the photo's on here to prove it :)
Brilliant Photo's kebabman..:handclap:
And yours as well Baz..Fine Photies Sir..:handclap:

My mate has just moved in to the Unity Building and currently has access to the Penthouse while they are still finishing it off. As soon as I go up, I'll take me camera and snap away!
You get some cracking views from the penthouse.

That pic of Daves, msg 158 is practically the same position as Snappels on the Merseyside winter wonderland thread with icy railings.
Probably the same spot where Snappel took his pic, except I zoomed in. Notice the storm approaching? It peed down ten minutes later.
http://www.liverpoolpictorial.co.uk/unitypic.jpg
That's a great view -
all those colours...
all that concrete....
all that hard labour...
Magnifico.
The icy railings one wasn't from the top though, it was half way up the 'steps', just below the penthouses...
Look at the Pru and the other, is it the Pearl - great towers on Dale ST.
The gold one is the Royal Insurance Building. Exploring that was a treat and a half. All of it, from the stunning city views in the tower to the air-raid shelter in the basement. I'm annoyed they sealed it up, but on the plus side at least it's safe from vandals...
Ah yes, the Royal. Didn't I hear that they were the only insurance company to pay out on the Titanic. That Sweeting street/Elbow Lane is a quaint little place surrounded with the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
Love that pic Scouserdave :PDT11
Cheers Baz. Appreciated.:PDT11
Had to slap the text on the pic as I've sold it. Wouldn't do it usually, but Scouseyuppie from SSC is an avaricious stealer of my pics.:PDT_Xtremez_12:

[QUOTE=A. D. Williams;47866]I'll not ask what case you have against them, Dave. Sad to say that I haven't viewed the SSC forum for some time now - a great shame as I used to like posting my pictures there.
Ahhhh well! This forum's not too bad.
Pompous/ignorant folk and low quality piccies. Nowt's changed Dave.
This forum is Boss:handclap:
Too many threads to look through but most of the pics I've seen are fuzzy Imageshack hosted pics.
I hated the close minded opinions more there though when Snappel and his mates posted their pics of Beetham West on the crane there though. Their opinion like but to say he should of been banned because he could Influence people to do the same Is crap!
There old enough to think for themselves whether to climb up towers or not.
I still view SSC from time to time but, I no longer contribute to the forums. I have my own issues with some very childish mods on those forums. Also, and like others have pointed out, this forum is more focused on metropolitan Liverpool and the mods on here are far more educated and definitely more adult.
